Hi! I’m Danielle, this is my studio!
It’s a pretty cool studio for pretty cool people. Which is everyone. Because (can you keep a secret? Don’t tell anyone) I’m not actually cool at all! You’re stunned, aren’t you.
I started Pretty Cool Design Studio because I like to make cool things, and I really like to make cool things which move. I like to make things which make me think, hmmmm… that’s pretty cool.
Anyway, how’d I get here? Well, I’ve got a whole bunch of graphic design experience (I’ve been doing this full time since 2013, and I studied Design for Visual Communication at the London College of Communication, which if you know it, you know it is a pretty cool place to study), and I’ve got a crazy wide field of interests. Seriously. I’ve got legit qualifications in fine art, philosophy, politics and history. I got half an A-level in Psychology just to pass some time. But if you go back far enough, all I ever really wanted to do was draw cartoons and animate them. So now that’s what I do. Only instead of weird stories about talking ice-cream and zombies in the garden, I make visually pleasing, effectively communicating, brief busting (in the good way, not the trousers-too-tight way) motion graphics and graphic design. I could do that for you. In fact I’d love to!
